Urge Governor Daugaard to Sign Permitless Carry into Law!

Dear South Dakota Gun Owner:

Thank you so much for taking action on Constitutional Carry!

Your hard work has paid off.

But now, I need you to contact Governor Dennis Daugaard right away.

At issue is whether Gov. Daugaard will continue to deny you and other law-abiding South Dakotans the full protection of the Second Amendment!

But first, the good news from this week.

The South Dakota Senate this week approved HB 1072, which would establish Constitutional Carry throughout the entire state.

This means that Constitutional Carry is now on its way to Governor Daugaard.

Under HB 1072, South Dakotans will no longer be required to get the government’s permission to exercise their Second Amendment rights to carry a concealed firearm to protect themselves and their families.

If you are open carrying, which is perfectly legal in South Dakota, why should you be forced to ask the government for permission to put your coat on?

This makes NO SENSE at all!

Sadly, Governor Daugaard has indicated that he will veto this legislation.

And that’s why I need you to help me put the heat on Gov. Daugaard right away.

Force him to tell the thousands of gun owners in the state that he is going to veto their constitutionally-protected rights.

Force him to look you in the eye and tell you that he opposes your God-given right of self-defense!

So please contact Gov. Daugaard and demand that he sign HB 1072 into law.

Thank you for your activism!

In Liberty,

Erich Pratt
Executive Director
