California (Lockyer) Semi-auto Confiscation Documents

In the late 1990s, California Attorney General Bill Lockyer "reinterpreted" a statewide ban on the sale of certain semi-automatic firearms. In so doing, he ordered that citizens who had duly registered their grandfathered weapons now had to relinquish them.
