With each passing legislative session, it becomes more and more evident that anti-gun legislation is simply for the purpose of getting rid of all and any guns.

Take the newly worded AB 1810, authored by Assemblyman Mike Feuer (D-Los Angeles). This bill, originally dealing with graffiti and vandalism, has been re-texted to require the Registration of Rifles and Shotguns.

Now, everybody knows that registration of Rifles and Shotguns is not for the purpose of fighting crime, for Rifles and Shotguns are rarely used in crimes. Everyone also knows that only law-abiding gun owners register their firearms when the law mandates it. Those outside the law do not bother.

Therefore, a greater purpose is given to this bill. That purpose is to obtain your information in order to compile a Registration List. AB 1810 repeals existing law that prevents government officials from keeping records of transactions of Rifles and Shotguns and now mandates the compiling of a data base, where your name and all of the firearms you own will be kept for reference.

Call/Fax/Write Assemblyman Mike Feuer’s offices and Require that he withdraw this bill.
