Florida Pastor Was Armed And Ready When Disgruntled Employee Opened Fire In His Church

Reports indicate a potentially deadly shooting incident at a Florida church ended when an armed pastor fired on and seriously injured the suspect.

Living Water Fellowship Pastor Terry Howell Sr. was attempting to fire church maintenance worker Benjamin Parangan Jr., according to Osceola County officials, when the employee brandished a firearm and began shooting. Howell responded by pulling out his own handgun and shooting Parangan, defending himself and other church staff members and multiple children present at the time.
