GOA Teams Up with Black Guns Matter to Mobilize Gun Owners

Can You Make it on Saturday?

Gun Owners of America and Black Guns Matter are teaming up to teach grassroots organizing skills to enable gun owners to take to the streets to teach others about the importance of the Second Amendment.

Maj Toure, President of Black Guns Matter

The class will be led by BGM President Maj Toure.   Toure has been traveling the country talking about the importance of gun rights and advocating for the abolition of firearms laws.  He has spoken at national events such as the Second Amendment rally in Washington DC this past November.

Toure believes Virginia is a testing ground for new gun laws, and thinks it is important to take a stand against the Bloomberg funded anti-gun groups.

“Virginia is the birthplace of the racist practice of gun control in America,” Toure said. “Governor Blackfaces actions are showing us much hasn’t changed.”

“This is a great event to teach people how to convey the importance of the Second Amendment to others,” said GOA Virginia Director John Crump. “Maj has a specific energy that lets him connect with people.    In Virginia right now, we need that, and we are fortunate enough to have Maj teach that skill to activist and gun owners alike.”

GOA and BGM will be holding the class on Saturday, January 18th, at the Manassas Park Community Center from 2 PM – 4 PM.     The class is open to everyone and will be free to the public.  Please wear comfortable shoes because participants will be putting their newly learned skills into practice.  People from Maryland and DC are also encouraged to attend.
